Your information, in our community.

This is a private resident directory and a place for neighbours to keep in touch.

What we collect

Your name, email, phone number, address, Eircode, password hash, account review decisions and directory preferences. We also store the messages, news, events and event responses you create. Your password is never stored as plain text.

Who can see it

Administrators review registration details. After approval, residents can see your name and verified home on the community map. Your phone number is visible only if you choose to share it. Your email is not shown in the resident directory.

Community chat, news and events are available to approved members. Private conversations are accessible in the app only to the two participants. They are not end-to-end encrypted; the person operating the server has technical database access. Do not use this service for highly sensitive information.

Your choices

Change your phone sharing preference in My account at any time. Contact an administrator to correct your name or home, request a copy of your information, or request account removal. Removing an account removes its authored messages, news, events and event responses; private conversations involving that account are also removed. Review records can remain with the deleted account reference removed. Existing backups may retain earlier data until they expire.

Maps and essential cookies

The map uses an external map tile provider. By default this is OpenStreetMap, which receives normal map requests including your IP address and the displayed map area. Resident names, contact details and private messages are not sent to the map provider. OpenStreetMap privacy policy.

The map interface also loads integrity-checked Leaflet files from unpkg.com, which receives the usual browser requests for those assets. We use essential session and security cookies to keep you signed in and protect forms. There are no advertising or analytics trackers in this app.

Respect your neighbours

Use contact details only for appropriate neighbourhood contact. Do not copy or distribute the directory, send unsolicited marketing, or publish another person’s private information without their permission. Administrators may remove community posts and suspend accounts.
